Top Fundraising Events - National Event Trip Give-Away

The Golf Fore the Cure – National Event is a celebration of the success of the entire Golf Fore the Cure program for the past year and it recognizes all those that have contributed to a future without breast cancer. The following will receive an all expense paid trip to the National Event to appreciate your efforts in running an event and raising money for breast cancer research:

• The top two fundraising sites of all the Golf Fore the Cure - Local Events will be able to send a team of four-women to the National Event as representatives of their event. 

2012 Winner: Hollinger Golf Club (Timmins, ON) = $37,612.83
2012 Winner: Greenhills Golf Club (London, ON) = $24,083.00

• The top fundraising Golf Fore the Cure - Provincial Event will be able to send a team of four-women to the National Event as representatives of their event.

2012 Winner: Golf New Brunswick =  $41,253.00

Investors Group Contests

Investors Group’s will be offering two different contests that participants will have the opportunity to enter:

1. Local Contest - Every Golf Fore the Cure registered event will be able to offer participants the chance to enter into a draw to win a Sports Duffle Bag and waterbottle pack!

2. Canada-wide Contest – Every participant that enters the local draw at their event will also be entered into the Canada-wide Grand Prize Draw. The winner will receive a trip for two to New York city!

2012 Winner: Ms. Alina Hogg from Caledon, Ontario is the winner for the 2011 Program (Rest of Canada).  Alina won a trip for two to a 2012 Caribbean cruise, including flight, hotel and spending money!

Event Coordinator Appreciation

Golf Canada would like to recognize the Event Coordinators for volunteering their time and helping encourage more women to play golf. For your efforts in running an event Golf Canada will put your name in a draw for you to win a Golf Fore the Cure prize pack. In order to be eligible, the Event Coordinator must return all the information fully completed including pledge forms, cheques and the Site Collection Summary within 2 weeks of their event. 

           2011 Winner: Angela Anderson (Edmonton, AB) 

Participation Appreciation

Golf Canada would also like to recognize the participants that have helped raise money for the cause. For their efforts in pledging and donating Golf Canada will put their name in a draw for them to win a Golf Fore the Cure prize pack. Golf Canada will only put the names received through online registration or submitted on the Site Participant Summary into the draw.
