Team Golf Fore the Cure

Golf Canada has created a team of Golf Fore the Cure presented by Subaru ambassadors which incorporates several personalities from the golf world, media and/or celebrities to build some additional support around the program. Please read below to learn more about each of our 2016 ambassadors and check back often for updates throughout the golf season!

Alena Sharp

"I'm very proud to be partnering with Golf Canada's Golf Fore The Cure presented by Subaru program again this year. This program continues to gain strength across Canada. It not only raises money to find a cure for breast cancer but it gets women interested in this great game of golf. It is an amazing initiative and I'm honoured to be affiliated with Golf Fore The Cure.”

Rebecca Lee-Bentham

" I am honoured to be an ambassador of Golf Canada's Golf Fore the Cure presented by Subaru program. I feel delighted to support such a great cause through the game I love. It's awesome that Golf Canada and the Canadian Cancer society are working together to help make a change in the fight against breast cancer. I am truly excited to have this opportunity to help grow the game and raise awareness for a cause close to all women's hearts."

Evanka Osmak

"Golf Canada’s Golf Fore the Cure presented by Subaru is a program I’m proud to be associated with. As an ambassador for the last couple of years I have seen the positive changes that the program is making. What’s better than hitting the links with a few girlfriends and at the same time helping raise money “Fore the Cure.”

Evanka Osmak (Anchor, Rogers Sportsnet)

Anne-Catherine Tanguay

I am pleased to be joining as an ambassador the Golf Canada’s Golf Fore the Cure Program presented by Subaru Program. Pairing women’s golf along with the Canadian Cancer Society and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation is a great initiative in promoting the game and saving lives. This program has been making a difference (on and off the course) for so many women in creating a sense of community along with raising over 5.4 million dollars for the fight against breast cancer. It is a great cause that I am honored to support and I am looking forward to get involved with Golf Fore the Cure.
